As a former public speaking instructor at a university and someone who speaks regularly on behalf of my company, I feel like I have a pretty good grasp of what it takes to be an exceptional speaker. Turns out, I can always learn more. This book is exceptionally well written. The messages are concise and so clear that it's easy to implement. I found valuable tips I could put into practice immediately like challenging myself to summarize my key message in 20 words or less and leveraging the speaker checklists provided by the authors. An easy, friendly, valuable read!

Each chapter is filled with immensely practical tips from two masters of the speaking game. Save yourself some angst by learning about everything from visuals to visualization, storytelling and really connecting with your audience. The chapter summaries alone are worth the price of the book. Though I wish The Exceptional Speaker was around when I started presenting, I am immensely grateful to have it by my side now!
